What is Music by The Master?
Music by The Master is live and personal music, in all styles,
brought to you by Gary Schwartz. Whether you are doing a Renaissance
Wedding, Civil War Wedding,
a holiday party, or cocktail
hour, Music by The Master can provide for you whatever
music you so desire.
With years of experience
as a choral director, keyboard and vocal instructor, accomplished
pianist, harpsichordist as well as proficient on pipe organ, Gary
can provide for you the sounds you envision. Gary has performed
at such places as the Kennedy
Center and National
Theater in Washington DC, Mt
Vernon; home of George Washington, Bruton
Parish in Williamsburg, various embassies, and Oxford
University in England. Gary has the ear and insight to help
you select and play music that would be right for any occasion.
Music By The Master also works with outstanding vocalists and
other instrumentalists, should you desire something to supplement
the keyboard.
 Music by The Master also is
involved with educational programs designed for audiences of all
ages. Engaging in first person point of view, step back into Renaissance
England or join him in music commemorating the battles fought
in the War Between the States, Both programs encouraging audience
participation. Music by The Master has also recently formed
and rehearsing a Youth Consortium, giving students the opportunity
to play music of the 17th-18th centuries such as trio sonatas.
How about commissioned compositions?
Gary has composed 3 symphonies, numerous piano and choral compositions,
Requiem mass, as well as ballads, music for plays, commercials
and multimedia presentations. Looking for your own "theme,"
or Bridal Processional? Gary has composed
various marches for weddings as well.
